Wheelchair Rugby

Wheelchair Rugby is a fast-paced, full-contact Paralympic sport designed for athletes with impairments affecting both upper and lower limbs. Played indoors on a basketball court, teams of four use specialized chairs to carry a white ball across the opponent’s goal line.

Did you know? Wheelchair Rugby is a full contract sport, clashes between wheelchairs are very much part of the game and key to its spectator appeal.
