UK Sport is the UK government’s strategic agency for major events at the UK level. We work closely with our sporting, national and regional partners to ensure that the UK successfully bids for and stages some of the world’s biggest international sporting events. We believe in the power of major events and their ability to unite spectators, local communities and provide exciting opportunities for individuals.
Arts Council England (ACE) is the national development agency for creativity and culture, investing public money from the Government and National Lottery to support arts, museums, and libraries across England. Established to champion cultural experiences, it funds organizations and artists to ensure nationwide access to theatre, literature, music, and digital arts.
Liverpool City Council is the local authority for the city of Liverpool, England.
The city is renowned as a global leader in staging major cultural and sporting events, the Vitality Netball World Cup in 2019, the World Gymnastics Championships in 2022 and the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.
The Liverpool Experience Campus (formerly The ACC Liverpool Group) is a premier, interconnected waterfront event destination in the UK. Renamed in early 2026, the campus features four key venues—the M&S Bank Arena, Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre, and Pullman Liverpool Hotel—offering a fully integrated space for major conferences, exhibitions, and live entertainment.
We are ParalympicsGB. As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain, it is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games.

Boccia UK is the National Governing Body for the Paralympic sport of boccia, dedicated to elite-level training and competition for athletes with high support needs.
World Boccia (formerly BISFed) is the international governing body for boccia, a Paralympic precision sport designed for athletes with significant locomotor disabilities, such as cerebral palsy. It regulates competition rules, classification, and development of the sport globally.
Paddle UK, formerly British Canoeing, is the national governing body for paddling sports in the UK, representing kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is the national governing body for wheelchair rugby in England, Scotland, and Wales, dedicated to leading, promoting, and growing the sport. As a registered charity and member of World Wheelchair Rugby and the British Paralympic Association, GBWR manages domestic leagues, high-performance teams, and a growing junior program, with a focus on safety, inclusion, and elite success.
