The Inclusive Sport & Culture Festival is a bold and inspiring celebration where sport, culture, and creativity come together to spotlight the extraordinary talent, innovation, and achievements of disabled people.

Bringing together athletes, artists, performers, and communities, the festival will present an exciting programme of inclusive arts, para sport, exhibitions, music, live performances, workshops and large-scale outdoor experiences. At its heart is a commitment to championing the voices and creativity of D/deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent artists on a local, national, and international stage.

The cultural programme will showcase ambitious, high-quality work that challenges perceptions, sparks conversation, and celebrates diverse lived experiences through creativity and connection.

Our Core Values

  • Disability-led

  • Excellence and ambition

  • Accessibility for all

  • Visibility and representation

  • Collaboration and best practice

Developing throughout summer 2026, the programme will create opportunities for local artists and arts organisations to collaborate with leading disabled-led organisations and creatives from across the UK and beyond. These partnerships will encourage the sharing of skills, ideas, and best practice while helping to build a meaningful and lasting legacy across the city and wider region.

Whether you are an artist, athlete, organisation, volunteer, or audience member, the festival invites everyone to be part of an inclusive celebration of creativity, culture, and sport.
